Beyond the Outro
Beyond the Outro is a British creative publishing project that produces original fiction inspired by the mood, atmosphere and emotional themes of music albums. The project describes its format as music fiction, or Mu-Fi.Rather than adapting lyrics, musicians, album narratives or existing visual material, Beyond the Outro uses an album as the starting point for the creation of an independent fictional world. Each album-inspired collection may include a short story, fictional locations and organisations, a world guide, and merchandise presented as artefacts from within the story.
